SmashCare Car Repair Procedure
 
   
Step 1: Car towed/driven to SmashCare Workshop
Step 2: SmashCare will conduct a comprehensive assement of the damage to your vehicle and provide estimates of part prices.
  SmashCare will then liaise with the insurance company on your behalf.
Step 3: Once repairs are approved your vehicle will be assigned to a qualified Repairer who will:
 
  a. Order necessary parts required to return your vehicle to before accident condition
  b. Repair the vehicle's body structure meeting industry and manufacturer's standards
  c. New panels will be prepared and installed
  d. Corrosion protection will be applied to all metal work
 
Step 4: SmashCare will conduct a quality inspection of the workmanship before progressing to the next stage.  
Step 5: Your vehicle will then progress to the paint shop and a qualified Refinisher will:
  a. Chemically clean your vehicle
  b. Prepare and prime your vehicle for top coating
  C. It will then undergo sanding, masking and a finely detailed clean before entering the spray booth
  d. A mutli-step paint refinish process will be utlised by SmashCare using PPG Paints

Step 6: SmashCare will conduct a quality inspection of the workmanship before progressing to the next stage.
Step 7: If mechanical damage was incurred during the accident a SmashCare's qualified mechanic will rectify all mechanical problems.
Step 8: SmashCare will conduct a quality inspection of the workmanship before progressing to the next stage.
Step 9: Your vehicle will then be expertly cleaned inside and out. So, you not only get your car back in its pre-accident condition, but it is beautifully presented by our detailing team.
Step 10: SmashCare will conduct a final quality inspection of the workmanship.
Step 11: Once your car is completed a friendly SmashCare staff member will call you to arrange a pick up time.
